Community Centre Car Park

Reported in the Road or path defects category by Noel Gately at 11:46, Thu 30 March 2017
Sent to Roscommon County Council 4 minutes later

The Community centre car park is in a state of disrepair with potholes and bumpy surfaces. The carpark is used frequently by council contractors to park and turn heavy vehicles and also to stockpile road-surfacing materials and equipment. School buses use it to turn and collect/dispatch students. Public road users also use the car park to park and turn their vehicles. As a result the entire surface has become poor and dangerous, especially for the elderly users who use the Community centre weekly. Can their be some re-surfacing works carried out for the car park surface?

Updates

  • Potholes are getting worse. Elderly increasingly at risk when using the area and entering the facility. Should be looked at as a priority before a serious injury occurs.
