Traffic Light Sequence

Reported in the Road or path defects category anonymously at 21:16, Wed 13 September 2017
Sent to South Dublin County Council 3 minutes later

The traffic light sequence at the Chapel Hill/R835 junction is causing significant tailbacks between the hours of 7:30-8:00am.

Sometimes the lights are only green for a few seconds before turning back to red. This is causing significant tail-backs between the Lucan Bridge junction and these traffic lights.

I don't understand why the sequence is so short as there is very little traffic coming from Lucan Road at that time of day and it doesn't need that sort of priority.

I would be very grateful if this issue could be investigated.

Thanking you, Cathal
