Several broken street lights

Reported in the Street Lighting category anonymously at 00:37, Saturday 5 May 2018
Sent to Cork County Council 2 minutes later

A large number of street lights in chapel hill, Kealkill, bantry cork are not working. The whole area around here is on darkness with up to at least 10 lamps not working. As this is next to main road and on a busy secondary road this is posing a dangerous risk to residents in the area. This is an immediate safety concern. This fault has been present for over 5 days.

  • Initially I had trouble contacting the relevant persons and it was unclear as to who actually is in charge of fixing street lights, esb, country council etc. After I phoned the right number I got through to a person. It was fixed approx 1 week after call was logged.
