Sent to Mayo County Council 1 minute later
The road at Carrowsteelaun, Claremorris is severly damaged. Coming from Claremorris, cross the bridge at Carrowmarley and drive to the top of the hill. There is a patch of the road which is completely broken up with pot holes on the bend. Cars are now going around the corner on the wrong side of the road in order to avoid this road damage and protect their cars and an accident is likely to happen if this continues. The council have patched it recently, but a full square of tarmac NEEDS to put in place because a few chippings is not sufficient. Further along, 50meteres or so, there is another sharp bend. The sides of the road are completely gone and are full with water. This has been the case for a while and it is totally unacceptable. I urge your staff to address this problem with great urgency. Many thanks.
