Reported in the Street Lighting category by Denis Murphy at 21:35, Fri 18 August 2017
Sent to Cork County Council less than a minute later
Street light not working in Lion House Car Park. Light next to No 9.
Nothing at the moment !
Might be fixed for Xmas ? Still in the dark.
County council are a waste of good life to be dealing with ! never get good results from them, they're a different set of people altogether, unless you're lucky enough to meet the odd good one that knows what their job is. Might be repaired for XMas 2019 ?
No this problem has not been fixed. I think the number may be No 8 as it is covered in hedging.
Unfortunately No, this Street Light has not been fixed yet! but it's only just been over 3 months since it was reported. I had a beautiful car stolen from under this Street Light a few years back, and believe it or not, the light was not working either that night. We are concerned about break in's cars stolen etc. as that Light shines over the rear of the houses where we live.
Hi. Same old story here, Still waiting for Light to be repaired ??? Maybe New Year ? Happy Christmas !
Waste of time !
My experience of getting the problem sorted was zero, because nothing happened assuming the problem was reported. Is broken and dangerous public pavements more important ? I don't know. Because we have them also. Who reports dangerous pavements ?
Still in the dark here.
I thought it was reported to the Council ? Maybe they were never informed ? I think they should be reminded again.
My experience of getting this Problem fixed is Nine Months Plus. of waiting and god knows how long more ???????
No sign of any street lamp fixing here.
47 weeks waiting for a street light bulb to be replaced ! What can I say ? Maybe they should start using long life bulbs. In another European country that would be investigated. We have more light now, Thank You FixMyStreet It's ye guys should be getting the salaries.
