Sent to Westmeath County Council 2 minutes later
The Beleisha Beacon on the crossing that goes from Woodlands Avenue to Lidl has been struck by a vehicle and is leaning over at a precarious angle.
It is still leaning over and could eventually fall causing an accident.
Besides entering the problem here I verbally notified the council but the beleisha beacon has still not been righted.
This could easily be fixed by a JCB pushing it straight.
It is still leaning over.
Over 6 months now. This looks to be an easy fix and should take less than 15 minutes.
It is still leaning over and the lights in most of the other poles are not working
Still not fixed only one light of four still working.
It is still not fixed. Is this the council's responsibility? If not why do they not pass on the information to the relevant authority? Does anybody actually read these comments?
It is nearly a year since I reprted this. I also did so verbally to the council ans some of their workers who were fixing the pavement opposite here. It makes me think this site is a waste of time as nobody seems to read these. They will wait until somebody gets killed before action is taken and then pay out taxpayers money in compensation.
