Dangerous Foothpath

Reported in the Road or path defects category anonymously at 09:11, Tue 12 February 2019
Sent to Cork County Council 3 minutes later

This a heavily used narrow footpath adjacent to a major urban road where cars consistently drive in excess of 50 Kmh. It is once again overgrown with briars which reduce the effective size of the footpath creating danger. My 3 year old refused to walk on safer ditch side due to overhanging briars. Regular consistent maintenance of this footpath is essential to ensuring it is safe to use.

  • Thanks Cork County Council for ignoring this issue. Pedestrians are now left with less than a meter of useable footpath, cars are frequently travelling in excess of 60kmh on this road.
