Reported in the Tree and Grass Maintenance category by Paul Baird at 16:44, Tuesday 12 February 2019
Sent to South Dublin County Council 1 minute later
Hi folks, I reported this previously, got no actual response, and now can't see the problem listed. So, to repeat, having maintained the soft margin on a stretch of about 80 metres of public roadway, Manor Avenue, for almost 30 years, I was wondering if the maintenance crew who work in this area would be capable of taking over, and cutting back the ever growing shrubs and hedges. It would b e helpful, before they start encroaching on an already narrow road. I'm happy to meet with any representative if it helps. Regards, Paul.
It needed the issue to be logged twice before any action was taken. When the Council workers turned up fully ready with 'men at work' sign, full PPE clothing, they spent about 15 minutes cutting back abut 10% of the overgrown shrubs and trees, then called it a day. I guess I'll have to register the issue again.
Still waiting for the encroaching vegatation to be cut back... please!
