Broken traffic light at pedestrian crossing

The traffic light/ signal has been broken at this location (JFL Avenue/ near Well Road junction) for nearly a week now, the signal box/ power supply mini pillar is knocked over onto the public footpath and poses a hazard as the electrical wiring is accessible! This is another busy road that is next to imp[ossible to cross without this crossing. The Council engineers must be going around with their heads in the clouds that they don't see these obvious defects on the busiest road in the county town...
