Overhanging tree damaging property

Reported in the Tree and Grass Maintenance category by Donna Ellis at 21:46, Tuesday 13 August 2019; the map was not used so pin location may be inaccurate
Sent to South Dublin County Council 3 minutes later

There is a huge tree adjacent to my property that overhangs it and is causing damage to my solar panels and wall.

I have attached photographs for your reference. The solar panels are meant to be self cleaning but the detritus from the tree has all but covered 3 of the panels rendering then ineffective. They need to be cleaned and may be permanently damaged. There is a branch that had fallen off the tree trapped on my roof on a solar panel. The tree also overhangs the pavement, being hazardous for pedestrians.

I have contacted the council by telephone 3 times and logged the issue on fixmystreet.ie and on your website. I have been told that my street is not part of the maintenance schedule for 2018-2019. This is unsatisfactory as my property is being damaged.

Please can you arrange to have the tree attended to urgently. If no action has been taken within 2 weeks of the e mail I will seek legal advice on how to take action and to reclaim any costs incurred cleaning/mending
