Updates

  • Three drains in this area always blocked by saturated compressed leaves. In the past there has been flooding here. It is in an inlet close to Deerpark entrance off Castleknock road

  • I found another drain at the top of that minor road - at the entrance to Deerpark Road. The previous ones are blocked again.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 21:00, Sun 22 December 2019

  • Completely blocked drains-

  • But this is a recurring problem (even now some are blocked again) The drains are set too low - they need to be raised. Also there should be some chicken wire on drain covers to avoid all the leaves and debris from going down the drains.
