I've reported this twice last year and still nothin g has been done. The lamp outside No. 127 is totally enclose in an overgrown evergreen tree resulting in Zero street light in the dark. Please trim or remove the tree, it should never have been planted this close to a street light.
My third time to report this and it is still the same.
It's still a safety issue with no Street light on the pavement.
There was an attempt to break into my mum's house between 7-10pm on Monday 6th Jan 2020. Due to the lack of Street light this probably made her house more attractive and partially contributed towards the decision to carry out this attempt to force her from door with a crow bar as it in almost complete darkness. Thanks for ignoring the problem DCC and causing stress and expense to an elderly widow and her family and neighbours.....
Still not fixed. Cost my mum €350 in front door repairs after an attempted break in which was aided by zero light from the street lamp due to overgrown trees surrounding the lamp.
