The zebra crossing between Woodlands Avenue and Lidl needs refurbishing. The pole supporting a belisha beacon is bent from being struck by a vehicle two years ago and still has not been repaired. There is moss and weeds growing on the road islands and represent a trip and fall hazard. The stripes need repainting. Half of the light do not work.
I would like to know why after two years this has not been fixed. The council has plenty of money as the traffic light fiasco in Mullingar has proven.
It took two years but they did a good job eventually.
