Faulty traffic light at pedestrian crossing- again!

Reported in the Street Lighting category anonymously at 11:18, Wednesday 5 February 2020
Sent to Laois County Council 2 minutes later

I first reported this fault on 13th January- still not rectified. The pedestrian lights are faulty- signals work for traffic but no lights at all for pedestrians- very ambiguous and potentially misleading for younger children attempting to cross here. There seems to be continuous issues with the signals at this crossing- please fix, hundreds of school children using this crossing every single day.

  • The problem has been partially fixed- one of the push buttons still not working, one set of pedestrian lights still not operational. Not acceptable on this busy road.
