Road surface crumbling

I am making contact regarding the condition of our road (glar road to Drumbuoy) which is in terrible condition. There has been no thorough road resurfacing on this road in living memory. I have been previously told that it is a dead end road and there isn’t much traffic on it. There has been some excellent tarmac road jobs done in our area which have a lot less traffic. On Friday last the road alone had five arctic trucks in and out plus a multitude of farm traffic. There are approximately 20 households directly on that road and the same again that use the road to turn off towards Moneygreggan and Roughan. This isn't taking into account the 10's of cars that drive to the back shore on a daily basis which substantially increases at the weekend or during good weather.

This is beyond a patch work job now. There have been a number of near misses by people trying to avoid potholes and having to drive slightly off the road on the opposite side.
