Road Drainage hazard

Reported in the Leaks and Drainage category anonymously at 22:47, Sun 23 May 2021
Sent to DĂșn Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council 3 minutes later

The road drainage shore within a few feet of the Ballycorus Road Sign at the junction with it, Rathmichael Road and Brides Glen Road is blocked. The problem- the last attempt to clear the blockage did not clear the well of the shore down to the outlet pipe and current heavy rain has resulted in flooding across the road. There is a danger of aquaplaning at this bend

  • It is blocked at the point where the outlet pipe is, although looking at it from the top it doesn't look as it it is not emptying

  • This shore is again blocked. It is blocked in the outlet pipe that runs under the roadas I have cleared leaves away from the entry to the outlet pipe. There is a anger of aquaplaning at this bend and this shore blockage diverts water right across the 3 road junction. The channel to the ordinary water drain 3 yards down from it is also overgrown
