Long wait for pedestrian lights

Reported in the Road or path defects category anonymously at 20:38, Thu 16 September 2021
Sent to Galway City Council 2 minutes later

I am part of a cycle bus for school. The roundabout was replaced with a new junction. It takes 3 minutes to cross one junction. There are others people nearby who have to cross two junctions. It can take 6 minutes. Galway is wet and windy. This will promote pedestrians to take risks. Perhaps flashing amber lights and reduced wait times would make it acceptable
